Analogies can be applied as one of the cognitive processes needed to find “new combinations”, a key component required for innovation. The PLAYFOOL Workshop, developed in reference to creativity studies in cognitive science, enables people to think analogically to find insights from everyday scenes and objects and generate novel ideas. In this paper, the ideas and dialogues of participants produced during three exercises of the PLAYFOOL Workshop are discussed to understand the analogical processes which it stimulates.
CF. I skipped most of the presentation by several reasons.
